Tirana, 11 August 2025, dtt-net.com – Albania journalists, representatives of media organizations and opposition members today held a protest in capital Tirana over suspension of broadcasting signal of a private TV and expulsion of journalists of a media group from offices by the government, amid dispute over rent building dispute with authorities.
On the orders of government, Albanian police Saturday morning halted broadcasting signal of News 24 TV, did not allow journalists to enter offices and cut electricity amid rent expiration dispute over the building owned by the government.
