Prishtina, 20 August 2025, dtt-net.com – Two more attempts took place today in Kosovo parliament for body’s top post, but two candidates proposed by the Vetevendosje (LVV) party of the caretaker Prime Minister Albin Kurti failed to have sufficient votes in the 120-seat body.
The former justice minister Albulena Haxhiu got 57 votes, and same number of votes got the former minister of foreign affairs Donika Gërvalla-Schwarz, both in technical mandate, after being elected lawmakers in February elections, with the first saying after the failures that new elections are likely to be called.
