Prishtina, 22 August 2025, dtt-net.com – A third nominee from the February elections winner party – Vetevendosje (LVV) of the caretaker Prime Minister Albin Kurti – also failed today to get sufficient votes for Parliament Speaker post, which is the 57th failed attempt in the stalemate saga of constitutive session.
The minister of finance in technical mandate, Hekuran Murati, got only 57 votes of support, 4 short of needed majority in the 120-seat legislative body, after previous failures of two other nominees, as parties continue refusing to compromise, thus leaving the country without a new government as second consequence since February 9 elections.
