Brussels/Belgrade, 11 September 2025, dtt-net.com – The European Democratic Party, representing European Democrats and part of Renew Europe today addressed strong criticism toward the President of the European commission, over her silence on the “alarming situation” in Serbia as protests of students against Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic continue.
The party links Ursula von der Leyen’s silence with ties of the European People’s Party (EPP) has with the Serbia’s ruling Progressive Party (SNS) controlled by the authoritarian President.
