Belgrade, 15 September 2025, dtt-net.com – Serbia police has arrested a total 927 students, activists or politicians since November 2024 when widespread daily protests against authoritarian President and his ruling party were launched and triggered by the collapse of train station canopy in northern town of Novi Sad which killed 16 people, including a student, according to the data collected by a local non-government organization .
According to the listing made by “Pustitei is Sve” (Release them All), most of them, including students and pupils of secondary schools are released, sent to house arrest or banned to participate in public gatherings.
