Belgrade, 17 September 2025, dtt-net.com – Thousands took the streets today in a manifestation in several Serbia towns calling for release of a 19-year-old student, detained last month during an anti-President protest in northern town of Novi Sad.
Bogdan Jovičić, student of Faculty of Technical Sciences, has entered a hunger strike since Thursday (September 11) after his detention was extended for another month, is held following charges of demolition of premises of the ruling Progressive Party (SNS) controlled by authoritarian President Aleksandar Vucic, and was transferred today to hospital in capital Belgrade amid health deterioration.
