Prishtina, 24 September 2025, dtt-net.com – A commemoration ceremony was organized today in Kosovo by local institutions on second anniversary of the killing of a police officer by a Serbia-backed armed group, members of which are still walking free in Serbia.
On 24 September 2023, in the village Banjska of northern municipality of Zvecan the gunmen entered Kosovo from Serbia and killed Afrim Bunjaku and wounded two others. Three members of the group were killed and two wounded during the whole-day long fighting. Others of the group run back to Serbia and continue to be protected by the government controlled by authoritarian President Aleksandar Vucic.
