Belgrade, 04 November 2025, dtt-net.com – Serbia’s Collegium of the Public Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime today accused President Aleksandar Vucic over attempts to pressure prosecutors through “offensive and untrue statements” made last night in an interview over some of current criminal investigations, in yet another attack by authoritarian leader on country’s prosecutors.
“Here I am telling you that you are a corrupt gang in the prosecution's offices, in most prosecution's offices, that you have as many corrupt judges under your control as you want with whom you work, but I also think that the majority of both prosecutors and judges are honest and responsible people,” Vucic said during the interview with TV Prva, accusing the prosecution of investigating over the manner government decided to enter a deal with Donald Trump’s son-in-law for construction of a luxury hotel at the former army’s general headquarters in capital Belgrade - damaged by NATO airstrikes during the 1999 Kosovo war – and which was earlier declared as protected ‘cultural heritage’.
