Bosnia’s lower house adopts draft-law in the first reading needed for EU entry talks

Sarajevo, 22 December 2025, dtt-net.com – The House of Representatives of Bosnia and Hercegovina (BiH) Parliament today approved in the first reading a draft-law on the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJCP) but not on BiH Court amendments, with both needed for launching EU membership negotiations. 17 members of the lower House voted in favour, 10 against and 11 abstained at today’s urgent session over HJCP draft-law.
