Belgrade, 15 February 2026, dtt-net.com – Azerbaijan and Serbia governments today signed an agreement for construction of a gas-fired power plant in Serbia by Azeri companies, the first in the Western Balkans country.
The agreement “on the Design, Construction and Operation of a Gas Turbine Power Plant in the Republic of Serbia” was signed by the Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan, Mikayil Jabbarov, and the Minister of Mining and Energy of Serbia, Dubravka Đedović- Handanović.
