Tirana, 18 February 2026, dtt-net.com – The manner which Albania institutions will tackle the case of the indicted Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Belinda Baluku is a crucial test for the EU candidate country in the fight against corruption, a top member of the European Parliament said today.
“The case involving deputy Prime Minister Balluku is a critical test for Albania to address corruption,” the Chairman of European Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee David James McAllister said in a press conference today during a visit in capital Tirana.
