Sarajevo, 05 March 2026, dtt-net.com – A plane with around 170 citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) landed late Thursday in capital Sarajevo evacuating the first group of from Dubai, amid ongoing fighting in the Middle East.
According to BiH authorities around 1300 more nationals are still in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrein, and Oman awaiting evacuation.
The government today allocated around 400 000 Euros for evacuation of its citizens from the Middle East countries.
According to the government 3 or 4 more charter flights will be needed to evacuate all nationals from the area and bring them home.
