Podgorica, 09 March 2026, dtt-net.com – President of Montenegro today refused to sign and returned to the Parliament for review the amended law on internal affairs of last week citing non-compliance with the EU and breach of Constitution.
“The provisions of the adopted law are not aligned with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the EU Law Enforcement Directive (LED), as officially stated by the European Commission,” Jakov Milatovic recalled in his explanations why he refused to decree it.
