Skopje, 12 March 2026, dtt-net.com – Two oppositon parties of ethnic Albanians in North Macedonia this week called for early parliamentary elections, hoping that an early vote would put Albanians in a more favourable position in the government, as they accuse current junior ruling parties of Albanians of being inferior in decision- making in front of the main Macedonian ruling party of the conservative Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski.
The calls for new elections come from the Democratic Union for Integration (BDI) and the Alliance for Albanians (ASh) - the fraction led by Zijadin Sela.
