Belgrade, 19 March 2026, dtt-net.com – Police of Serbia said it found and seized nearly 80 kg of marijuana, heroin and cocaine during an operation in capital Belgrade. “In Belgrade, the police, by searching the apartment and other premises used by the suspects, as well as by inspecting the car, found and seized several packages containing about 77 kilograms of marijuana, about 1.2 kilograms of heroin, about 500 grams of a mixture to increase the mass of the narcotic drug, a smaller amount of cocaine, as well as two digital scales for precise measurement,” police said in a press release.
It said that it arrested two local nationals from Priboj, on suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs.
The two suspects have ordered to be detained for up to 48 hours and will be brought to the competent prosecutor’s office with a criminal complaint.
