Belgrade, 19 March 2026, dtt-net.com – A charter plane with 250 Serbia national landed today in Belgrade airport from Doha, as part of evacuation of citizens of Serbia from Middle East countries amid ongoing war in the region.
"Today we are evacuating around 250 of our citizens who were stranded in Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain. This is the most logistically demanding operation we have carried out so far,” the State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Damjan Jović said in a video message, over the plane which landed in Belgrade aroud 16h.
