The opposition accuses both agencies of being used by the government of Edi Rama in corruption.

The PD lawmaker Klevis Balliu at the session accused Rama of personally being involved with suspected associates and private companies in tenders related to a project of the AKSH.

The prosecution has already launched an investigation on both agencies.

When it comes to the road agency, the prosecution has already indicted now former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Belinda Balluku.

After heavy pressure from the PD Rama dismissed Balluku but is refusing to lif her parliamentary immunity which would pave the way for her arrest requested by the prosecutor’s office against organized crime.

Balluku is indicted on two tenders and is being investigated on several others in construction sector.

The opposition accuses Rama of being the main person behind all tenders in construction sector of which Balluku is indicted already and being investigated on seven more.
