EU keeps trying to convince Kosovo and Serbia leaders resume talks over stalled deal while early elections likely in both countries

Prishtina/Brussels, 10 April 2026, dtt-net.com – A European Union envoy travelled to Serbia this week and met with country’s President Aleksandar Vucic, trying to resume talks with Kosovo over stalled unsigned deal of 2023 focused on formation of an controversial autonomous body for Kosovan Serbs. Envoy Peter Sorensen said he discussed with President Aleksandar Vucic in Belgrade over “key dialogue issues”, after visiting Kosovo in late March.
