Prishtina/Paris, 27 March 2026, dtt-net.com – Kosovan Prime Minister Albin Kurti said he talked for two hours with French President Emmanuel Macron today in Paris, including on the unsigned EU-mediated agreement of 2023 which focuses on formation of controversial autonomous body for Serb minority, but the content of discussions between the two leaders over next steps to be taken related to the burning topic remain unclear so far.
Kurti said he asked Macron’s support on Kosovo’s road to “EU integration and international organizations and deepening economic cooperation through the organization of new Kosovo-France business forums.”
“Also, at the meeting I raised security issues, strengthening of our defensive capabilities, dialogue with Serbia and implementation of the agreement for full normalization. I thank President Macron for his warm welcome and support to the French Republic in moving our Republic forward,” Kurti added, without further details.
