Report sounds alarm over child poverty risk in North Macedonia

Skopje, 07 May 2026, dtt-net.com – According to a new report prepared by UNICEF and the Ministry of Social Policy, Demography and Youth of North Macedonia, every third child in the country is exposed to the risk of poverty. According to UNICEF and the ministry, around “120,000 children in the country are still exposed to the risk of poverty – especially children from large families, Roma families and single-parent families.”
