Tirana, 08 May 2026, dtt-net.com - Albanian opposition protesters and police clashed today during 8th protest of this year against the Prime Minister Edi Rama and his government.
Clashes started in capital Tirana when police cordon cut the march of protesters and did not allow them to continue toward the interior ministry.
Police threw water cannons and tear gas, including against opposition lawmakers and journalists.
Protesters hit back with cocktail-Molotov and fireworks.
