Brussels/Prishtina, 04 June 2026, dtt-net.com – Members of the European Parliament (EP) yesterday in a draft-resolution renewed calls to Kosovo authorities to form autonomous body for ten Serb-predominantly municipalities, which is the core of the 2023 unsigned EU-brokered agreement between Kosovo and Serbia leaders.
EP’s Foreign Affairs Committee (AFET) said that the Agreement on the Path to Normalisation of February 2023 and its Implementation Annex of March 2023 “remains valid and legally binding on both parties” and called Kosovo authorities to format of what is named ‘Association of Serb-Majority Municipalities’ (ASM) and at the same time on Serbia to lift its opposition to Kosovo’s membership in international organizations.
