Podgorica/Brussels, 28 June 2026, dtt-net.com – The Western Balkans country will have six members in the European Parliament when it becomes full-fledged member of the European bloc, according to a top member of the EU legislative body.
“Here in the European Parliament, transcending party lines, we look forward to welcoming MEPs from Montenegro soon. Montenegro is a small country, and six seats have already been reserved," the Chairman of EP’s Foreign Affairs Committees (AFET) David McAllister, told Montenegro’s public broadcaster, RTCG.
