Sarajevo, 11 October 2026, dtt-net.com – Political parties in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) have launched talks for formation of governments in two entities and for central one, as preliminary results show that no major change happened in terms of support they got in October 4 compared to four years ago.
All parties have or will have talks with each-other, except Bosniak parties with the Serb Independent alliance of social-democrat SNSD party, which Bosinak do not negotiate for the time being.
in a turnout of only 42,2% biggest partes of Bosniaks, Serbs and Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) maintained support for seats in institutions.
Bosniak member of tri-partite Presidency, Denis Becirovic of the Social-Democrat Party (SDP) is re-elected for the seat from, while this time the main party of Croats, the HDZ BiH got the seat for Darijana Filipovic.µ
From Serb parties the pro-Russia SNSD party of Milorad Dodik maintained the seat with Zeljka Cvijanovic.
In FBiH entity elections for country’s parliamentary seats Bosniak main party BiH, Party of Democratic Action (SDA) did best followed by Becirovic’s SDP; Croat HDZ.
In Serb entity presidential elections, Prime Minister Savo Minic of SNSD got the seat
For Serb entity’s parliament SNSD of Dodik got most of support.
