Albania, Montenegro, and North Macedonia set to spend more than 2% of GDP in defence this year

Tirana, 08 July 2026, dtt-net.com – The three NATO members of the Western Balkans region, are estimated to spend more than 2% of their GDP for defence in 2026, according to a new report of the western military organization. But the three, as most of the 32 member countries still behind from reaching the 5% target , exemption of Estonia (5,10%) and Lithuania (5,33%).
