More European lawmakers to monitor Serbia’s snap elections as early fraud allegations surfacing

Belgrade/Strasbourg, 20 October 2026, dtt-net.com - A delegation of 20 lawmakers from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will join an international mission to monitor Serbia’s snap parliamentary elections on 25 October. The team from the Strasbourg-based body will observe the vote alongside a seven-member delegation from the European Parliament (EP) and approximately 80 parliamentarians and staff from 29 member countries of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE). The early elections in the EU candidate country come after an intense, two-year push by opposition groups and student activists.
