Tirana, 08 March 2024, dtt-net.com – Albania’s Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime (GJKKO) set a new hearing for Tuesday (March 12) over the request of the leader of the opposition, Sali Berisha, to revoke house arrest where he is since end of December, following an investigation by the prosecution over alleged “passive corruption” and abuse of office during his 2005-2009 prime minister mandate which he denies.
