Tirana, 06 November 2025, dtt-net.com – The Parliament of Albania today amended the law on ‘Gende Equality’ after disagreements between the ruling socialists and opposition conservatives during the parliamentary debate and protests by dozens of citizens against the text, as conservative opponents consider that the law is harmful to the family between women and men.
77 of socialist Party (PS) lawmakers voted in favour of the new law and 36 of the conservative Democratic Party (PD) voted against.
