Tirana, 21 Juin 2026, dtt-net.com – Police of Albania filed criminal charges against another nine protesters, of what it called “obstructing” traffic in capital Tirana, as daily rallies in the capital town continue against the Prime minister Edi Rama and his insistence on construction plans in coastal areas.
“Tirana Police Structures have prosecuted 9 citizens who, after the end of the rally on 20.06.2026, around 22:00, have continued to stay illegally on the "Martyrs of the Nation" Boulevard, obstructing the movement of vehicles and disrupting the public peace,” police said Sunday.
