Tirana, 08 July 2024, dtt-net.com – Albanian police detained today a person involved in abuse of European Union funds in the case of the former minister of healthcare of the ruling Socialist Party (PS), Ilir Beqaj, who was arrested last week on charges of abuse of office and embezzlement of EU funds managed by a public agency of which he was director two years ago, according to local media reports.
