Tirana, 16 February 2026, dtt-net.com – Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama says that the indicted Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, has handed over her resignation to him three times but he rejected it.
Rama said at a meeting of his Socialist Party (PS) that he refused her resignation because of what he called “pressure” by the prosecutor’s office and court against corruption and organized crime whom he accused of “entering the territory” of the government.
