Skopje, 27 February 2026, dtt-net.com – The President of Albania today called for respect or the use of the Albanian language in the neighbouring country and, as he said, “ensure” the fair and adequate representation of the country’s ethnic Albanians in public institutions.
“Albania reaffirms its position on respecting the use of the Albanian language and ensuring fair and adequate representation of Albanians in institutions—essential elements for social cohesion, institutional stability, and the European perspective.,” Bajram Begaj wrote on his X account, after the meeting he had with his Macedonian counterpart Gordana Siljanovska Davkova.
