Skopje, 03 August 2025, dtt-net.com – Xenophobic slogans on Albanians were chanted by a group of Macedonian basketball fans last night in North Macedonian town of Kumanovo during a match between North Macedonia and Romania national teams, a match attended by the Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski and several members of his cabinet.
“Let the damned Albanians understand, the Macedonian name will not disappear, pure, pure, pure Macedonia,” is one of the slogans heard in the video, while local Albanian media reported also slogans: “A good Albanian is a dead Albanian,” and “Gas chamber for Albanians,” prompting condemnation by Albanian officials and opposition and calls for investigation by rule of law authorities.
