New York/Belgrade, 24 September 2025, dtt-net.com – Authoritarian President of Serbia, today in his speech at the United Nations General Assembly said he offers “dialogue” to students protesting against him since November, saying that he is “absolutely certain” that the ongoing crisis in the country will end soon.
Vucic accused students of “unrest and attack against constitutional order”, amid ongoing widespread and almost daily protests during last eleven months triggered by collapse of train station canopy in northern of Novi Sad, which killed 16 people, including a student, as protesters continue calling for accountability accusing him and the ruling party he controls of corruption and abuse of office leading to the tragic accident on 1 November 2024.
