20 July 2026, dtt-net.com – Australian company HyTerra has announced its first Natural Hydrogen production testing in the United States at its ‘Nemaha Project’ in Kansas, where according to the company sampling results have shown high concentrations of hydrogen up to 96% and helium up to 5%*.
“It’s an exciting moment for us at HyTerra and we believe for the industry as the whole because it’s the next step of commercialisation pathway and we are proud at HyTerra to be leading on this, and we hope to see some exciting results in coming weeks,” company’s Chief Executive Officer Riley Kemp said over the testing launched seven days ago.
The project in Kansas is the first one of the company in the USA and is expected to be followed by the second one in Nebraska named ‘Geneva Project’, where according to the company testing results have shown hydrogen concentrations up to 44% and helium up to 13%.
