Chaos in Albania’s Parliament as tensions between opposition and government mount further

Tirana, 18 December 2025, dtt-net.com – Tensions erupted today in Albania parliament as opposition tried to block parliamentary session accusing the ruling Socialist Party (PS) and its Prime Minister Edi Rama of corruption and links with organized crime. Opposition lawmakers of the Democratic Party (PD) tried to take over seats of government members, but security tried to push them back.
