Belgrade, 08 July 2025, dtt-net.com – More than 600 wildfires are reported across Serbia since yesterday, with emergency being declared in central town of Kragujevac, the municipality of Žitorađa of southern Nis town and several other municipalities across the country.
In the municipality of Žitorađa several houses are reported burned in five villages.
Members of the army are deployed to help firefighters and local authorities to extinguish the fires, with authorities reporting several of them extinguished or contained.
