Strasbourg, 10 September 2025, dtt-net.com – An Austrian member of the European Parliament (EP), today addressed criticism toward the President of the European Commission (EC) of appeasement toward authoritarian President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic.
MEP Helmut Brandstätter told Ursula von der Leyen that people of Serbia are disappointed in her and called her to speak out against Vucic and his authoritarian policy, amid ongoing repression against protesting students.
