Belgrade/Brussels, 01 July 2025, dtt-net.com – The Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats (S&D) political group in the European Parliament of the Party of European Socialists called Serbia authorities to release all students detained after clashes with police two days ago during the massive protest in capital Belgrade against authorities.
While condemning the police violence and repression during the student-led protests the S&D group said “all those detained must be released immediately,” as protests have spread across the country with road blockades calling the authoritarian President Aleksandar Vucic to set a date for early parliamentary elections.
