Belgrade/Munich, 14 February 2026, dtt-net.com – Serbia’s President today said that the future of the now halted EU-backed massive lithium project in western municipality of Loznica would be known after early parliamentary elections, which he hints will take place in the last three months of 2026.
Aleksandar Vucic today accused country’s environmentalists and opposition parties of being the cause of halt of project of the British-Australian Rio Tinto company, saying that because of them the country "lost yet another big chance".
