Belgrade, 19 January 2026, dtt-net.com – Hungarian MOL company and Serbian government have reached a deal with Russian Gazprom for purchase of its shares in NIS oil refinery in Serbia, and companies of United Arab Emirates are also expected to be part of purchase deal to acquire shares from Russian Gazprom subsidiaries Gazpromneft and Intelligence, Serbian officials announced today.
Serbian Minister of Mining and Energy, Dubravka Đedović Handanović, said today that Serbian state will also increase its shares for 5% to 30% in the new deal needed in order the company can be removed from USA sanctions list.
