Kosovo authorities inaugurate second new bridge in northern divided town

Prishtina, 17 December 2025, dtt-net.com – A new second bridge was inaugurated today in the Kosovo northern town of Mitrovica, on the Iber river which divides it in two municipalities. The inauguration of the bridge for pedestrians was attended by the outgoing Prime Minister Albin Kurti and his associates in an event organized after the first new one for circulation of vehicles and pedestrians was opened in August, on top of the old and main one which continues to be banned for vehicles by western peacekeeping troops.
