Prishtina, 20 July 2025, dtt-net.com – A Kosovo court ruled Sunday a 30-day detention to a member of Serbia government, for calling the former Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) – which fought in 1998-1999 war for independence from Serbia – a “terrorist” organization.
The Basic Court in capital Prishtina agreed to the request of the Prosecution for one-month detention on the Deputy Director of office for Kosovo at Serbian government, Igor Popovic, who is charged of “inciting hatred and inter-ethnic divisions” by qualifying the KLA “as terrorist organization” during a speech in Rahovec municipality Friday.
