Kosovo implements laws on foreigners and vehicles registered abroad protested by Serbia and its controlled party

Prishtina, 16 January 2026, dtt-net.com – The government of Kosovo started today first phase of implementation of law on foreigners entering Kosovo and vehicles registered abroad, which are protested by Serbian government and the Kosovan Serb List party controlled by Belgrade. Kosovan Interior Ministry explains that the law on foreign citizens includes the obligation of foreign citizens entering Kosovo to “notify the address of stay within three (3) days from the date of entry at the border or at the nearest police station”.
