Prishtina, 10 July 2025, dtt-net.com – Kosovo Special Prosecution said it has authorized police to investigate a 3 million Euros contract awarded by the outgoing government to a local company for construction of two new bridges on the Iber river in northern town of Mitrovica, amid suspicion of irregularities.
“…the Special Prosecutor’s Office has authorized the Kosovo Police to take the necessary investigative actions in order to properly determine the factual situation for all suspicions related to the case, in accordance with the Code of Criminal Procedure,” it announced in a media statement, over the projects for which construction works were launched earlier this month by the caretaker Prime Minister Albin Kurti and other members of his government in technical mandate.
