Montenegro citizens continue handing over firearms voluntarily a week ahead of two-month deadline end following mass shooting

Podgorica, 21 February 2025, dtt-net.com – Montenegro police said that since the January 1 mass shooting in Cetinje town, citizens have handed over voluntarily 2714 firearms, 94.180 pieces of ammunition, 288 hand grenades, and hundreds of firearms parts and explosives so far, as the two-month deadline set up by the government ends this month, to be followed with tough legal measures on those who have not responded positively to the call.
