Montenegro elections: Movement of new President to get most of votes but insufficient to govern alone (exit polls)

Podgorica, 11 June 2023, dtt-net.com – The Europe Now movement, of which co-founder is the new President Jakov Milatovic, today got most of votes in early parliamentary elections, according to exit polls, and will need to negotiate with other parties to form a new governing coalition.

The Center for Monitoring and Research (CeMI) said that according to its 68,2 percent of votes counted, the Europe Now led by Milojko Spajic gets 25,5 percent of votes, followed by the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) of the former President Milo Djukanovic and its allies with 23,4 percent.

The pro-Russian coalition of three Serb parties (NSD, DNP and RP) follow third with 15,3 percent, Democrats and URA (of outgoing premier Dritan Abazovic) with 12.5 percent, Bosniak Party with 7,0 percent …

A second exit poll, by the Centre for Democratic Transition (CDT), also puts on lead Europe Now, but with 26.1 percent, followed by DPS and its allies with 22.8 percent…
