Podgorica, 04 March 2026, dtt-net.com – Four opposition parties in Montenegro today wrote to the European Commission asking for its opinion over recent draft-laws and related amendments sponsored by the governing coalition about interior affairs and country’s security agency are in aligned with EU rules and standards.
“The heads of the opposition parliamentary groups are requesting an official position from the European Commission on whether the aforementioned texts of the law, in their amended form, are fully aligned with the acquis communautaire and EU legal standards,” reads a joint press release over the letter sent to the EC by heads of four parties, Andrija Nikolić (DPS), Miloš Konatar (URA), Boris Mugoša (SD), Adrijan Vuksanović (HGI/DUA).
