Podgorica, 25 July 2025, dtt-net.com – The Parliament of Montenegro today adopted changes to the electoral law on municipal elections deciding to hold municipal vote on one day in all municipalities while also increasing participating of women in candidate lists to 40 %, following a compromise reached between ruling and opposition parties.
The changes are welcomed by EU officials who applauded the compromise between the opponent parties.
