Podgorica, 09 December 2025, dtt-net.com – Police of Montenegro said it filed misdemeanour charges against total 35 people, including a lawmaker from the main opposition party, over last year clashes with police in capital Podgorica during a protest against an award by pro-Russia officials to a local writer who denies Montenegrin nation and is supporter of Chetnik movement.
The case relates to the clashes of 8 July 2024, when hundreds took the streets to protest award handed over by the Speaker of the Parliament Andrija Mandic to Becir Vukovic.
